For one week every September, Milan fills with some of the most photographed people on earth — top models, actors and celebrities, and the influential bloggers and content creators whose feeds shape what the rest of the world sees of the week. They move between shows, brand dinners, launch parties and afterparties, and almost every moment of it ends up documented somewhere.

I'll be right in the middle of it myself this year, working backstage at Milan Fashion Week from September 22–28. And if you happen to have an invitation to one of those evenings — a show, a dinner, a party where the room is full of people with their own glam teams — and you want hair and makeup that genuinely holds its own in that setting, that's exactly the kind of work I do.

Why the bar is different that week

Walking into a fashion week event isn't like a normal night out — the room is full of people who are professionally styled, and the photography is constant, often unflattering flash rather than a curated shoot. Hair and makeup that would look perfectly polished on an ordinary evening can read as flat under those conditions. What actually holds up is the same discipline I bring backstage to a runway show: precise, camera-tested work built for exactly this kind of scrutiny, not a quick touch-up.

Getting ready without losing time

I come to you — hotel or apartment — so getting ready fits around a packed week rather than eating into it. For the practical details on what I offer and how to book during the week, see hair and makeup for Fashion Week guests.

Get in touch while there's still time

I'm splitting the week between backstage work and private appointments, so slots are genuinely limited — the earlier you reach out with your dates and what the event is, the easier it is to fit you in. If you'd rather wait and see the bigger picture on the week first, I've also written a full guide to Milan Fashion Week 2026.
