Every September, Milan fills up with people in town for Fashion Week — not just editors and buyers, but guests attending shows, brand dinners, showroom previews and afterparties, all wanting to look genuinely put-together for a week that's photographed constantly. If that's you this September 22–28, I wanted to mention something that isn't always obvious: I'm in Milan for the week myself, working backstage, and I'm also available for private hair and makeup appointments around my show schedule.
Who this is for
Anyone in Milan for the week who wants professional hair and makeup for an event — a show you've been invited to, a dinner, a launch party, or simply wanting camera-ready hair and makeup for the days you know you'll be photographed. You don't need to be part of the fashion industry to book — just want to look your best for it.
What I offer during the week
- Event makeup — polished, photograph-well looks suited to evening light and flash
- Hair styling — blowouts, sleek styles or soft waves, whatever suits the occasion
- Hotel or apartment visits — I come to you, so you're not losing time in the middle of a packed schedule
- Quick touch-ups — between a show and dinner, or before a late-night event
Why it's worth booking a professional for this particular week
Backstage at fashion week, there's no room for error — makeup and hair have to be precise, fast and built to hold under bright lights and constant photography, with zero time for a redo. That's exactly the discipline I bring into every appointment, event-ready looks included — it's a different context from a wedding, but the same technical foundation: work that looks effortless and lasts through a long day of moving between events.
How to book
Since I'm splitting the week between backstage work and appointments, availability is limited — the earlier you reach out, the easier it is to find a slot that fits around your schedule. Send me your dates in Milan, where you're staying, and what you need it for, and I'll confirm what's available.
And if you're in Milan for reasons that go beyond fashion week — planning a wedding here, for instance — I've also put together a full guide to getting married in Milan.
